Şu sıralar farklı dijital Settop-kutuları bir USB girişi üzerinden harici bir belleği kontrol edebilme ve bunu TV yayınlarını kaydetme için kullanma imkânı sunuyor. Belleğin okuma hızı saniyede 10 MB, yazım hızı ise 3 MB/s.
