Lambalar, bilgisayarlar, faks makinaları... Hepsi elektrik üretmek için pedal çevirenler sayesinde çalıştı.

Firmanın çalışanları sabah saat 5'te pedal çevirmeye başladılar. Bir bisikletçi 200 watlık enerjiyi aşağı yukarı bir saat pedal çevirerek üretebiliyordu. Bu da orta büyüklükteki bir televizyonu çalıştırmaya yetecek enerjiydi...

Firma bisikletçilerin ürettiği enerjiye ek olarak gün boyu elektrik tüketimini de azaltmaya çalıştı. Ofisteki lambaları söndürdüler. Mümkün olduğunca doğal ışıkla çalışmaya gayret ettiler.

Firmaya bisikletten elektrik üretme sistemini kuran Dan Gross ise şunları söylüyor:"Bu kurması basit bir sistem. Tüm ihtiyacınız bir bisiklet, bir akü, kullanılmış bir arabanın alternatörü, bir uzatma kablosu ve bir doğru akım dönüştürücüsü..."
